Meet the People Who Help Our Students Thrive.
As the Director of Little Cubs Preschool and Pre-K 4 teacher, Ms. Mimi is passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children can grow and develop a love of learning. She studied elementary education at Fairleigh Dickinson University and has a background in school emergency management and religious education. She loves watching each child’s unique personality shine as they discover new things. Outside of school, Ms. Mimi enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with her husband, two sons, and three grandchildren.
Mimi Veneziani
Ms. Jami is a Pre-K 4 aide and has been part of the Little Cubs family for over 6 years! She loves working with children and watching them learn, grow, and bring joy to each day. Outside the classroom, she enjoys spending time with her husband, three grown children, and two dogs. Ms. Jami feels blessed to be part of the Little Cubs family and to help create special memories with our little learners.
Jami LaRose
Ms. Kristin is a Pre-K 3 teacher with 20 years of preschool teaching experience, including 6 wonderful years at Little Cubs! She holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and English from Georgian Court University and previously served as a preschool director. Her favorite part of teaching is watching her students grow and being part of their very first school experience. A proud mom of three, Ms. Kristin grew up in Ocean City and loves cheering on her children at their sporting events.
Kristin Garwood
Ms. Jen is a Pre-K 3 aide, who loves working with children and enjoys their sweet-fun loving personalities. As a proud mom of two Little Cubs alumni, she holds a very special place in her heart for our preschool. Outside the classroom, she enjoys hairdressing and all things Disney, where she even got engaged and married.
Jennifer Lewis
Ms. Amanda is a Pre-K 3 teacher and has been working in education since 2013. She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in education, specializing in student affairs and college counseling. Her favorite part of teaching is helping children discover new strengths and abilities they never knew they had! Outside the classroom, Ms. Amanda loves spending quality time with her husband and their three children, Avery, Jameson, and Patrick.
Amanda Glover
Known as “Ms. Jenn-Jenn” by our Little Cubs, she brings over 20 years of childcare experience and a passion for helping children build confidence and discover all they can accomplish! Ms. Jenn-Jenn finds joy in making a positive difference in each child’s life. Outside the classroom, she enjoys spending her days off antiquing and searching for hidden treasures.
Jennifer Dougherty
Ms. Linda brings a wealth of experience to the classroom, having spent 34 years as a public school teacher and 10 years as a teacher’s aide at Little Cubs. She loves helping little learners grow and discover new things. A proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she treasures time with her family. Outside the classroom, Ms. Linda enjoys relaxing on the beaches of Ocean City, spending summers at the shore, and traveling.
